ABOUT US
Foundation for Family Justice was incorporated in April 2013 as an Arizona Nonprofit Corporation under Section 501(c)(3) for the purpose of raising and providing funds to organizations that provide legal services and/or sponsor or organize the provision of legal services to those living within Pima County, Arizona who would otherwise be unable to afford such legal services.
The Peter Economidis Award for Lifetime Achievement and Contributions to Family Law Award Criteria
- Admitted to a State Bar for at least 30 years and devoted the majority of his/her professional life in the area of family law, and
- Extensive handling of sophisticated and complex family and matrimonial law matters, and
- Recognized for his/her trial and dispute resolution skills, and
- Recognized by bench and bar as one who practices with honesty, integrity and professionalism, and
- Certified as a Family law specialist or is a Fellow in the AAML or has been a Judicial Officer on the Family Law bench, and
- Meets at least three additional criteria, such teaching or writing in the area of family law, serving as a family law judge or other court appointed position, serving as an officer in State Bar, ABA, AFCC or AAML associations in family law, providing pro bono representation or doing other volunteer work in the area of family law.
